Prominent among campus social affairs is the animal Pan- Hellenic formal, held this year at the Golf and Country Club. Council meetings are held at the Various chapter houses on the campus. Strict rushing rules are tested at the opening of spring and fall semesters. CONKLI NG Governing- body of social fraternities on the campus, Inter- Fraternity Council prescribes rule and law to its members in the hectic matters of rushing, pledging and initiation. Member fraternities this year were Alpha Tau Omega, Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Tau Kappa Epsilon. Chi Delta, local, and Alpha Epsilon Pi, national, refrained from joining because of late organization. The council's tall traveling scholarship trophy was retired permanently this year hy Tan Kappa Epsilon, which won it the first three semesters it was offered.
