Roger, who at one time owned the best back arty on Mars lost them in a poker game and now makes his living by bumming off the rest of his classmates. SENIOR CLASS PRCPHECY Ladies and Gentlemen of Planet Earth. This is an official bulletin from Planet Mars on the Class of 1958 of Drake High School. We are picking up beeps from the Explorer which at this date in 1978 is still in orbit. The first beeps relay to us that it has picked up Igg- Alme's trail. The beeps are saying that Tom, who was voted the most likely to succeed, has, and in a big way. Tom has set up the first Dodge factory on Mars and is now making millions by sending Dodge demonstrations around the strotosphere on Dodgniks The next beeps relate to us that Verna Blumhagen is busy picking peas Verna holds the Pea Picking Championship of Mars of 1978 As a matter of fact, she holds the Pea Picking Championship of the entire universe ln her spare time Verna works as a stenographer for Elvis Pretzelz, who is head of the Hershey Record Company of Mars Explorer has now picked up Jerome Blumha en Jerome, better known as Jeronamo, is the head of Jeronamo s Fertilizers of Mars, Inc Jeronamo as the only life factory ever heard of It consists of 500 head of pure bred Mars Scrubs, a new kind of cattle As a hobby, .leronamo bakes bubble-gum pies l.,gSQ,L,,i1!.lL has qolned the Humane Society and now collects dogs out of Russian Sputnlks He does this by using a fishing net and fishing them out as the Sputnlks go wlzzmg by Kenneth Bruner who is the only one of the class of 1958 that IS still on Earth makes his living by raising hogs Kenny s ever Increasing family has kept him from making the trip to Mars Kenny makes his meager life earning by sending hogs to Mars on Hog nlks an invention of his Hear ye, hear ye, the Senator of Mars Roger Buelow has finally got up his ambition and reached his goal by becoming the first Senator of Mars After teaching school for ten years, Rog decided to give it up because of the work involved and take up politics H started out by preaching his views on street corners to anyone interested then hopping on a passing Explorer, he made the trip to Mars Because of his way with the ladies, he got the honorable position l hear that they are planning to run him for president in the coming elections Good luck, Senator Buelow MUYCCHU Grad has opened a dancing academy, according to the Beeps The dances that she teaches there are some of her own creations Some of the more popular ones are Elvis drag, Mars flop, and Blacklack Marcella has also opened Sallys Salon and tries many new halrdos on her customers Some of them are really dlllles, l hear Duane Hass better known as Young Louie, IS blasting away on his trumpet Besides playing his trumpet, Duane also raises frogs and teaches them how to play This is very interesting and new because there arent any bothersome frogs croaking to disturb anyone on Mars on summer evenings They are all playing their trumpets under the direction of Mr Hass, and in this way serenade everyone Homecoming Queen of 1957 Marilyn Kemper, is really a queen to come home to accord- Earth where they are really a rage Queen Mcnlyn and her husband Dum Bum also have opened a theater in outer space which runs the Academy Award winning movies of Planet Earth Walter Hordlnsky, alias Doc, IS the official librarian for Senator Buelow The books contained in this library are the most interesting, they contain everything from politics to wooing a woman Doc says this has really helped him to win his true-love who is Miss Mars of 1978 Allen Krenz s luck hasnt been holding out too well, according to the beeps Allen operates the Mars Refuelmg Center and IS forever covered from head to foot with a thick grease This grease is white in color and very hard to get off He gets ln this predica- ment when he refuels the satellites and they backflre the goo on him His plans for the future include inventing a fuel which won t backfire Margaret Lemer has finally reached her goal rn inventing a non stlcky peanut butter With the New York Yankees coming to Mars, she now sponsors them with No-goo Peanut Butter Besides this, the Yankees have won every game In the Universe Series because she is their official score keeper 14 . . . . . ..
