Paige LaRock and Mrs. Shepard look over layouts . The yearbook staff worked hard to put together a book that the students and faculty would enjoy. The staff was made up of four ninth graders and one eighth grader, none of whom had ever worked on a yearbook before. It was a good experience and a lot of work, but it was worth it. Washington Workshop Fourteen of Dozier’s ninth grade students were selected to attend a workshop held in Washington, D.C, They, along with students from other states, met with congressmen and senators, attended various seminars, and learned about the government. They also participated in a mock congress. The memory of this experience will be a lasting one in the minds of these lucky students. FRONT ROW: Troy Coward, Mr. Crippen, Mike Huggins.
