National Junior Honor Society The Nannie Granberry Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is made up of 74 ninth grade students who were inducted in the fall. The requirements for an Honor Society member are good scholarship, citizenship, character, leadership, service and a 3.2 grade average. This year the Honor Society sponsored The Honor Roll, Featured Teacher of the Month, School Store and Juke Box committees. They also sponsored the Thanksgiving Food Drive and will be going on a field trip to Patrick Henry Hospital. There will be an induction in the Spring for all eighth grade students who have met their requirements. Their sponsor is Mrs. Carolyn Smith. Faculty council members are: Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Sarah Brown, Mrs. Chambers, Mrs. Ball, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. O ' Neal, Mrs. Carolyn Smith. Robert Bloch, Brian Adcock, and Rhonda Blackburn clown around .
