Under the tutelage of Bliss Melba Lukens, the junior squad was victorious in two out of live games. This was a continuance of its last two years' record of two championships and no defeats. It was coached by Mr. Ralph Nlichener. Response was very enthusiastic, with forty recruits reporting for practice. The majority of these had little experience playing organized ballg therefore Mr. Michener had quite a little feat accomplished when the transformed them into a winning combination. 68
