The meetings were always well planned and well attended. The officers in charge were: Chris hliller, president, VVilliam Wrigley, vice-president, and Charles Rufe, secretary. QHE Girls' Apparatus Club, although diminutive in size and number, is one of the most active clubs in the school. The girls have promoted many projects, which have benefited other activities, as well as their own club. Pencils, with the basketball schedule printed on them, were purchased by the club and sold to the student body. This benehted the basketball squad, as well as the Apparatus Club. Pins of different designs, displaying the school colors and personal insignias, were also sold to the student body by the girls. Junior High Wasketball lzampions 1-HE Doylestown Junior High basketball team, coached by Mr. Sewers, swept through -II- one of the most brilliant seasons ever enjoyed by any junior high team. The boys lost but two games, annexing the league championship, and dropped several small high schools, including New Hope and Buckingham. The games were marked with fine playing, the team stopping the opposition with very little scoring on most occasions, and usually running up a large total themselves. The attack was led by the hiiller brothers, Frank and Ed, who accounted for a large number of points with their fine shooting. On one occasion the Red and Blue performed for the outside rooters at the Armory and handled themselves very well by topping the high school third team. fBoys' Intramural Tasketball ZHE Intramural League Championship was won by Fred Huppls Junior A team, which -If finished the season without a defeat. Bill Sehoenkopf's senior team gave the winners a great battle but lost when the two teams met. The individual star of the league was Ed Ettenger, who led the league in scoring and greatly aided the juniors in winning. The winners were presented with felt emblems by Coach Sewers. This activity, now in its second year, is gaining in popularity, much praise going to hir. Sewers, who devotes his time and interest so that it may function. The Intramural program furnishes recreation for those boys who are not good enough to make the varsity team. 'Tl1eT0RCH 0F1938 72 'Levnard Halderman, Jack Cosner,
