carrying a broom over his shoulder. We didn't have to ask him what he was doing, for we could all read the letters of J-A-N-I-T-O-R on his cap. After being seated in the large theatre. we learned from one of the ushers that Mary Rosenberger was Harry Rushis private secretary. While waiting for the show to start we looked over our programs, and to our sur- prise we read: 'GShoes and costumes loaned by 'The Dick Costume Store,' owned by Miss Mary Dick. Actresses on stage made beautiful by the beauty specialist and hair dresser, Miss Idella Selner. It didn't surprise me to see g'Della,, as a beauty specialist and hair dresser, for back in our high school- days I had often thought that she would be a wizard at the profession. We finished reading our programs just in time, for the lights went out, and we were ready for the treat. Just as the performance was about to begin, someone in the back of the theatre dropped -a nickel. None of us thought anything about it, until suddenly a great deal of confusion was going on in the back, and we heard the voices of '6Scotty', Moyer and 'cKirky hollering, HI found itl I saw it first! On with the lights! Well, sure enough, there in the back of the theatre were Alice and 'tKirky', fighting over the nickel some- body else had dropped. They recognized us and joined us, Kirky with the nickel. Alice said she wouldn't be able to enjoy the performance now. We asked them what they were doing for a living, and were told that in their spare time they acted as critics of shows, so that they could see them for nothing, and in their business hours they sold 'cfiagpipesf' Again the room was made dark, and up from the floor we could see an orchestra appearing. NArt Stevens was leading, and seated in the clarinet section was James Worthington. While in the cornet section sat Howard Fretz. The orchestra played several numbers and then the curtain rose. Out onto the stage walked g'Reds Phillips. After a welcoming applause he introduced the members of his program. First, the world's famous entertainer, uPeel', Ruos. Maybe he couldn't dance and sing! He had everything down L'Pat.', After his entertainment, 'LReds introduced America's greatest soprano, Irene Frack, and her accompanist, Ruth Quinn, now Mrs. Richar, wife of the All- American left end. They captured the hearts of the audience and received the applause of all. Next, 4'Reds informed us that we were to see 6'Greta Garbage in person. Out walked Sara Kachinski into the spotlight. She gave us a little talk and a few vocal solos. Her numbers ended with a 6'lVIerry Widow Waltz. The program on the stage was a big treat to us all, and what we saw next surprised us more. In the Fox News, who should appear before us on the screen but Catherine Beck. We were shown how she spends her time do- ing Missionary work in China. Then followed the feature picture-Edna Selner in The Leather-Man, Eddie's latest picture. She works for the Roland Studios. Now, we had heard from all the members of our class of '29 except Helen Sickel. At the time none of us knew what had become of her, but later I received a telegram from her, saying that she was spending a delight- ful Honeymoon in Ireland among the Mlrishf' After the show we all said goob-bye and went home, feeling happy that all our classmates had been successful in life. telling Harry Leatherman and Clayton Cehman, noted psychologists, about her latest book on philosophy, that she didnit have time to eat. Seated next to the psychologist was Martha Holmes, noted throughout the United States and Europe for her musical talent. She is also editor of the Harper's Maga- zine, with Charles Lerch as business manager, and has done much in assisting other magazines to proht through her system of Meconomyf' Doc,' Simons managed to get his force of nurses off for the occasion. He told us about his interest in medicine and his head nurse, '4Mim Shellen- berger. Among the other members of his staff were Kit Derstine, Marion Bennett, Anna Cope, Dot Bruner, Frances Johnson, Viola Lerch, Florence Lock and Mary Trauger. We all agreed that the Doc had a dependable force of good looking nurses. Attention was then called to the fact that the cream used in the coffee was from the biggest dairy in the United States, owned and operated by Anthony Hafler and Cyril Hinkle, and that all the vegetables were from the largest produce store in California, namely the a'California Fruit Market, owned by 4'Sam Siegel. Bob McNair, now manager of the New York Yankees, had with him the second Babe Ruth, Bill Murray, and his star third baseman, Lester Quinn. Ruth Vifasser, superintendent of a Girls, Boarding School, brought her faculty: Sara Brinker, Physical Training, Anna Cornell, History, Ruth Det- weiler, Sewing, Alma Fretz, French, Helen Lewis, English, Florence Riegel, Civics, and Grace Stultz, Dramatics. After'dinner Dot DeHart recited a number of Leonard Layton,s now famous works. Leonard, by the way, is Poet Laureate of America, while Dot is on the stage in New York with Atlee Cadwallader as her manager. '4Something snappierlv hollered out Karl Vang, manufacturer of HWeidner,, Bicycles. HAH right! How about a dance, Mae? Maybe Mae Dinlocker wasn't embarrassed, for she has given up dancing and is now tak- ing up MArt. HWell, then letis have the 'Four Devilsf exclaimed Virgil Layman, inventor of the Layman typewriter, the Mtypewriter that always worksf, The 'GFour Devilsw Oh! Yes, 'LBeaty', Frankenfield, 4'Dot,, Everett, Dutch', Coulton, and uLiz'7 Howes. Of course, none of us were surprised when we saw a handkerchief produced and placed over their eyes, for then we knew that they were going to show us what they have been showing the world for the last eight yearswmfhe Blindfold Test. Much applause was given to them when they immediately all guessed HLucky.,' Ewing Clark was giving some interesting details of his adventures in the African Jungle, when Harry Rush and Lloyd Schuyler dashed into the room, and explained to us why they and many of the other members of our class were unable to be present at the dinner. They invited us all over to the g'Rush and Schuyler Theatrei' for a treat. Stepping outside of the house, we found a bus waiting to take us over to the theatre. To our surprise, who should be driving the bus but 'gBob', Wiser. Arriving at the theatre we noticed inscribed on the huge building the words HConstructed by 4Cas' Lauerf, Walking through the corridor, we heard the familiar voice of uWalt,, Wolfe. Sure enough here was MPrince. all decked out in blue overalls and
