The whole class is rushing for '59 and our precious diplomas. Whizzing down the hall this past year were the Freshmen with Bobby Todd first off followed by Donna Weber,as a helper. Pushing along behind them with her paper work was Jean Hyzer. Sandra Homovich trotted along keeping us in- formed on our class profits.

As sophomores we were eager to get started with the new school year. We elected Jean John- son our President, Jim Shaw our Vice President, Sandra Cable our Secretary, and Elsie Baldauf our Treasurer, and Mr. Burton our Advisor. Patty Bower is Treasurer of the Leader's Club, Bruce is Sophomore Judge in Student Council, Pat Stevenson is president of the Chorus, Jean is Secretary-Treasurer of Chorus and Secretary of the Student Council. Bill is Juror, Sandra is Librarian of Senior Band, and Patty MacDonald and Jim Rose are Student Council Representatives. Our boys in basketball-Bill, Glenn, Bruce, Mike, Jim Shaw, Jim Rose, Craig, and Roger- are cheered from the sidelines by Sandra. We are planning a bake sale and a movie in the near future, after having had our Mardi-Gras booths. We envy the Seniors on their trip, but in an- other two years we'll be having our fun in Wash- ington, D.C.

The following people received cer- tificates of achievements from the Cur- tiss Company: Gary Fairbairn, Don Byington, Beulah Loucks, Pam Cole, and Golda Monovan. From the Crow- ell Collier Company: Don Byington, Don Tompkins, and Janet Lacey. Student Council Representatives are: Town, Stanley Davis: Out-of-Town, Don Byington.
