We started off the year in the usual manner by holding elections for class officers. The following were elected: President, Larry Duckwallg Vice-President, Robert Bellowsg Secretary, Ginny Williamsg Treasurer, Jerry Stephensong Student Council Represent- atives, Ginny W. and Joan White. We were also honored to have Kay MacDonald elected as Secretary of Student Council. Our first event of the year was a Camera Raffle. We all worked hard and it was a great success. This seemed to set the pattern. We held a Spaghetti Dinner in November and came out well on top. Our rings came just as school reopened for the New Year. They are truly beautiful and we are as proud of them as can be. Our next big event was our Junior Play. We presented it in March, and it was in turn tremendously successful. Everyone is looking forward to next year when we can pre- sent our Senior Play and do it as well as our one this year. The climax to our events this year was our junior Prom. It was certainly the most beautiful and best arranged Prom ever held in D.C.S. Those who attended will long remember the gorgeous decorations, lovely music, and the fun they had. We look back upon our Junior Year with a bit of nostalgia when we remember all the things that have happened and all the fun we have had, but we are looking forward to our senior year with great expectancies. -25-

We held one bloody day of initiation followed by execution day. Our prize prisoners, Ronnie Tillapaugh and Anna Brunner, paid their respects to us. On Halloween night, we plundered D.C.S. for victims for our House of Horrors and Penny Pitching. On Nov. 12, we sponsored Young Bess and brought forth enough tears to sink a battleship. We are sailing toward a brighter future and our captain's degree in '56. ..25..
