4- 'Q Abu X KENNY RYBURN TERRY RUEGER OWEN ROMINE BETTY ROBERTS FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY Twenty Green little Freshmen walked through the doors to begin their high school years at Downs High School in September of 1955 . Our initiation was held in early September - - there was a Kangaroo Court held in study hall and we all had a wonderful time. We can hardly wait until we are Sophomores now!!!! Our class officers for the year are: Bill Goodlick, Presidentg Owen Romine, Vice Presidentg Betty Roberts, Secretaryg Marilyn Clarke, Treasurerg Margaret Clarke and Donald Trent, Student Council Representatives . Our class sponsor is Mr. Bates. As money-making schemes we picked up corn and sold magazines . With considerable competition, Jerry Shaffer won the high salesman trophy by selling 551 .00.
