HISTORY The junior class started their third year with eleven students. Art Spencer was a new member and Shirley Whitlock left before the year had progressed very far. The class officers for the year were: President ........... Connie Prosser Vice President ...... . Phyllis Rueger Secretary ....... . . . Patty Gaines Treasurer ........... Frances Jones Student Council Rep. ......... Bill Roop Don Golden The junior-Senior Banquet and Prom was held April 21. Our theme was Rainbow Inn and our orchestra was Bob Hutton. Our class play, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, was presented November 3. Two members of our class were in band and seven were in chorus. All of the girls were in F. H. A. and two boys were in F. F. A. Four of our boys were active in sports. Our main money-making projects were candy and pop sales. We also sold pencils, corsages, earrings, and wrapping paper. Bill Roop was assistant editor of the school paper and Don Golden was assistant editor of the yearbook. Miss Nelson was our class sponsor and Mrs. Compis was our Prom and Banquet advisor.
