Mr. Andrew Harden Superintendent Of Schools Dr. Gray comes to Downingrown from Bellefonre Area School District in Centre County, where he was Superintendent for six years. Dr. Gray received his Master s degree from Duquesne ond his Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. An advocate of comprehensive leorning experiences that aid students in developing their individual talents. Dr. Gray works diligently to effect the programs that he believes will benefit the district ond its children. We welcome Dr. Gray ond his progressive ideas to Downingrown.

Vicky Neufeld, Kristen Tolober. ond I were Downingrown's representatives to o seminar sponsored by Walsworth Publishing Co. The seminar gove us many new ideas for the 1988 yearbook, ond o pleosont three days without parents or chaperones (Kristen hod the most fun, I wonder why?). 1988 wos o challenge, not only to meet deadlines, or to get lunch for that matter, but to capture the year in this one book for the doss of 1988. I hove to rhonk Vicky ond Kristen for oil the LONG hours rhey spent in those 2 small rooms. This yearbook would nor hove been put together without Mrs. Robinson ond Ms. Campbell, so thank you for motivating us when we needed that extra push, for knowing when we needed o little leewoy, ond basically for being there when we needed you ond finally, thonks for oil the food.
