I, Janet, love and respect this man, not only as a husband, but as my best friend. We have been together for a total of sixteen years. Mr. Alray Johnson: You Are Number One In Our Hearts. Mr. Alray Johnson has gained respect from the students and his peers because of his openness and willingness to listen and share his past in order to give them an outlook for their futures. His ability to coax his students into further schooling and his concern for meeting their needs has certainly made him a man to admire. At this time, We, the Class of 1980, would be honored to dedicate Our Year to the teacher we feel deserves this accolade. Among his many accomplishments are: MAAC Wrestling Champion (three consecutive years 1970, 1971, 1972), Olympic contender for wrestling in 1976, and successful Wrestling Coach at DHS 1972-1980. Mr. Johnson, we are very happy and proud to offer you this well deserved tribute. THE CLASS OF 1980 Mr. Johnson is the head coach of the DHS wrestling team. In 1972 he graduated from West Chester State College. He majored in Bachelor Science and Safety Ed. He has been teaching Drivers Ed. for eight years at DHS. He has been coaching the wrestling team for eight years also. His overall wrestling for the last seven years is 68 wins, 42 losses, and 5 ties.
