Charles Chiccino (Phys. Ed.) West Chester State College - B.S.: Umv. of Villanova Working in any field of endeavor is involvement; when that involvement is also something you enjoy, it is then a pleasure.” A. Denise Coleman (Math) West Chester State College - B.S. Wherever I go I am in the presence of others, so I have learned to become involved and not isolate myself from people. I cannot expect to have friends unless I am friendly, and express an interest in other people Therefore. I must become involved. Betty A. Collins (Home Ec.) Indiana University of Pa. - B.S. Columbia University - Teacher's College - M.A. Anyone who is a teacher cannot escape being involved. I feel that I am involved with influencing the minds of a multitude of people each day. Daniel R. Dantonio (Industrial Arts) Millersville State College - B.S. Involvement is a two-way street. It demands pride, enthusiasm and a lot of hard work and must yield at least personal satisfaction. In addition to teaching, my involvement at DHS includes the Penny Press and Rod Gun Club. John M. Davidson (Chemistry) Drexel University; West Chester State College - B.S. I continually fail to recognize the consequences of excessive involvement. When this occurs, essential responsibilities are overlooked and people and their feelings ignored and trampled upon. This results in compromises being made which far outweigh any progress received from the involvement. Bettina DeMicco (English) West Chester State College - B.S. When I first came to DHS I concentrated fully on my teaching duties. As these began to run smoothly. I became more aware of and participated in school activities. These are both demanding jobs, but each is so much more rewarding. 28

Cynthia M. Bush (General Ed.) West Chester State College - B.S. Involvement is the essence of living. It brings great joy. severe pain; fond memories, deep regrets; an occasional pat on the back, a frequent slap in the face. Without it though, we do not live, but only exist. Louis E. Capparo (History) West Chester State College - B.S.. M S School involvement as both a student in the past and a teacher in the present has always been of prime importance to me. I feel I can look at both experiences with great satisfaction My only regret is that as my involvements grow, so does my age. Audrey M. Chambers (English) West Chester State College - B.S.; Villanova The thought of ’total involvement' leaves me so frustrated that I see only this equation: OHS + grad, school + home - chaos + fatigue + satisfaction. 27
