Membership in the club is limited to 30. lt starts with ten seniors each year, and adds tive juniors each semester. Among them are polishing of trophies, ushering at school functions, selling pompoms at football games, selling roses for the Rose Float Association to raise money for the Rose Float, cleaning campus, selling adver- tisements in the Norseman, and taking a survey of last year's seniors to find out what they are doing now. They established a Marcia Esping Memorial Scholarship, to be given to a senior member who exemplifies spirit of service, in honor of Marcia Esping, DSHS graduate of '61, and the president of the Normaneers when she attended Downey. She died in an automobile accident in November of l963. l2l

It is one of the most active clubs on campus, and frequently is the winner of the award for the club rendering the most and best service to the school.
