Downey High, of Course MR. KENNETH 0. ESPING Principal Doing their best to make better living possible for us at DSHS are the school administrators, headed by Principal K. O. Esping. Working with him are Mr. John Warren, vice principal, who keeps disciplinary problems at a minimum, Mr. A. H. Shiney, director of student activities, and Mrs. Karyn Sanders, dean of girls, registrar, and Girls' league adviser. These people not only see that things run smoothly at school, but also work directly with the students in both curricular and extra-curricular activities. Mrs. Ann Rogers, secretary to the principal, does iust about everything that anyone can think of, and Mrs. Grace Lane has a full-time iob keeping the student finances MR.
