Ties That Bind Us M Qnfe Perhaps the most important, yet most un- known people to us, the students of DSHS, are our district administrators. They connect us to Our Town. What Our Town does, its growth, its new plans, and its many accomplishments, directly influences us at Downey High. We in turn affect the community by our social activities and general conduct. lt is our district administrators that help tie us, DSHS and Our Town, together. They spend many hours working for the good of our school. Their activities range from deciding the answers to maior school problems, and taking these problems to the community, to listening to complaints and general comments from the com- munity. The business department, also a part of the district administration, has the many problems of planning the budget and attending to all the financial questions that arise. 4 - MR. L. H. WILLIAMS MR.
