Chieftains The Viking Story continues in this i955 summary of our activities. The pictures we see and the items we read tell of our current achievements and successes, but when we look again at the pictures and read a little between the lines we sense the drama behind these successes. Here are revealed the efforts and loyalty of strong student leaders and willing teachers. Here is the story of a student body moving steadily toward success by reason of courage, determination, and good sportsmanship. Here we find again the spirit of the Viking. W. J. WRIGHT Principal MRS. KARYN B. SANDERS Registrar and Girls' Counselor Continued to be Vickie's real friend, acting as adviser to Girls' League and Les Torcheres, girls' service club. If anything concerned girls, Mrs. Sanders was there. MR, STANLEY R. BURGGRAAF Vice Principal Who sometimes wondered if there was any problem not referred to him. He acted as adviser to Student Court, arranged for seventh periods for those who didn't use all ofthe regular six, straightened out locker trouble, and just about everything else, and yet managed to keep his good humor. ku-...L MR.
