Time to Eat Mrs. Vola Barb Fuel for Energy Besides supplying nourishing hot lunches to students each day, the cafeteria at Senior High and the cafetorium at South Junior both are the scenes of many other special dinners and banquets. Such occasions as the Senior Breakfast tpictured belowl, Parent-Teacher Association meetings, Sports Awards Banquets, the senior boys' Father-Son Banquet, and many club meetings, such as the Latin Club Banquet, are held there. At South Junior the same floor space serves as both cafe- teria and auditorium thence the name, cafetoriumi, Mrs. Vala Barb is general supervisor of both splaces, and Mrs Darlene Mosher is manager of South Junior's cafeteria. we 5, .M T ey Keep ur Plant if Mr. Thomas Fleming PLANT ENGINEER vgnrbr' Though very few students have an opportunity to know him, Mr. Thomas Fleming has a great deal of influence on their daily life at school. He it is who has general supervision of all the maintenance work which keeps the school in oper- ating condition, he it is who acts as inspector of all the building programs now under way, he it is who supervises all the physical changes of the campus. With the changes in such things as the athletic playing fields, moving of the bleachers, installation of the lighting systems, scoreboards, construction of a new track, in addition to building two complete new schools, this is no small task. Mr, W, F. McEuen, transportation supervisor, is in direct charge of all buses and bus drivers. He it is who is responsible for maintaining bus shed- ulesg seeing to it that students arrive to school on time and get home safely, he it is who has to arrange for bus transportation for all field trips, transportation of players to games played away from home, and other services calling for the use of buses.
