as i vi H The '49ers started their year with fun and frolic and continued the year with many and varied ac- tivities. The seniors of '49 initiated a Senior Breakfast, at which the new maroon and grey sweaters were distributed and worn. Then came the senior Privilege Day, held at Griffith Park. The high and mighty seniors displayed their talents in their play, Joan of Lorraine, and again in their talent assembly, which was followed by a DICYIIC. 1 IU, , If ,I ,, L . I 4 Jos cARciA ' g f .i... , ,j ,L , . .,,., 'MW-f Throughout the year the dances and sporting events kept the seniors-in fact all our high school students-busy for all the weekends. Finally the long-awaited prom came in May. The juniors gave the seniors a prom that will be long remembered. At the end of the year came the events of a more serious nature.
