Student Body HE Student Body of Downey Union High School has been quite active this year. Among the important undertakings of the Student Body are: the buying of a tuba and a melophone for the orchestra the set- ting aside of one hundred and fifty dollars to p xy for educational enter- tainments and the purchasing of a combination radio and victrol 1. Ile haue had a s hool paper which has been distributed to the students who paid their Student Body dues. More time and discussion W is given to school actixities and important questions and events through thc new arr ingement for home-room groups. The annual operetta and athletic sports were carried on as special Student Body activities.
