Varsity Thrilled Crowds New l-lead Coach Bill Pelekoudas sparked the mustang cagers to a successful season. One highlight of the year was the game against Hinsdale South l-lornets, in which we won by a score of 68 to 65. Mark Andrews played an outstanding game and clinched the victory for Downers South. There were other good games too. Coach Pelekoudas said best overall effort so far this year was shown in the game played against East Leyden. Kregg Kinnear and Joel Yearian were among the high scorers for the season. Throughout all the games, the feeling and enthusiasm the fans and cheerleaders had, created an unsurpassed atmosphere.
