Drivers Education Attendance is one problem the Drivers Edu- cation Department doesn't have. lt must be the students awareness that this class can ed- ucate them in something they can put into use nowl The courage and patience that the teachers of this course have is remarkable. This is the only course offered in school where a student can literally take the life ofa teacher in his own hands. Now you know why the use of seat belts is stressedl After teaching Drivers Ed. for awhile you can immediately tell a good driver from a bad one as soon as he sits down in the driver's seat, says Mr. Mullins one of the instructors of this course. With only a l2 week period in which to teach the student how to handle and maneu- ver a car these instructors have their days filled with teaching rules, regulations and self preservation behind the wheel.
