Developmental Education The Developmental Education Department was set up to recognize the diversified and different needs and problems of the students and to satisfy them through a variety of courses. Counselers and teachers work together to maximize the potential of the students. Through such courses as Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Skills, Humanities 9, Publications, the Reading Center, Tutorial services and the work with the handicapped, the department communicates the feeling that someone cares. l.
