Learning By Helping Sixty South students spent free modules working as Library Aides. Qualifications for becoming a library aide were only to have an interest in serving the school and the library. The aides were able to learn basic library skills which can be used now and in the fu- ture. Members of AVA iAudio Visual Aidesl spent time assisting in the operation of the Media Center both in production and service. There were fourteen students working on AVA this year. Training for the Future The Nurse Aides helped the nurse during the day in their free mods. They cleaned the equipment tables and did clerical work in the office, as well as ran errands for the nurse throughout the school. FTA started oft the year by having a booth on Friday night of Homecoming. They sold fuzzy little birds.
