EXCUUUSE ME! - self-explanatory. GOING OUT WITH - True love? KINKS - tightly permed hair; also a rock group. MENSWEAR - guys giving girls les- sons in knotting ties. STEVE MARTIN - One wild and crazy guy who gets small and has hap- py feet attacks. PARTY - social gathering; also a pop- ular pasttime. SCHOOL - time to recuperate from the weekend. BELOW: Homecoming sponsor Nancy Karth- oil makes final arrangements for the dance. IH'D HIE- CO HIIN'G V 3 After months of extensive planning and organizing. Homecoming 78 was on its way. The week's events were kicked off with the Powder Puff game, Battle of the Galaxies. Senior wom- en outsmarted the Junior girls with their football skills and a score of 8-6. The half-time show was an event to remember with Senior Ted Pod- gordski doing a strip tease in pink tights while Princess the goat watched in amazement! Senior Powder Puff coaches Jeff Lawler, Dave Nance, Dick Riley, and Mike Kayse were awarded the Powder Puff Pail. Friday was an action-packed day with the Homecoming assembly that morning, the parade in the afternoon, and the football game that evening. (CONTINUED)
