At the assembly there was a whipped cream-banana eating con- test, where Seniors Karen Welch and Matt Antolik ate their way to a messy victory. Mr. Pappas put on his purple beanie and matching vest to lead ev- eryone with the traditional We Shall Tally cheer. The Athenas, not in uni- form, wore snappy smiling costumes and did a routine to the song, Short People. The performance was a tre- mendous success. rW . fi- The second place sophomore float. Crawley; Sophomore; Sherry Mullins; and Junior: Shannon Rantis. Every- one was awaiting the outcome of the voting to hear who won as King and Queen. The Queen's Court was Laurie Caputo, Nancy Loboda, Jayne Nadle, and Nancy Wysocki. They, with King's court Brett Bodoh, Pat McCar- thy, Dick Riley, Paul Sanborn, and Rick Sirovatka watched Queen Mary Jo Hejmej and King Sean O'Connor reign at the Homecoming festivities. At the parade, Voyage to the Outer Limits, numerous floats and decorat- ed cars made their way down Main Street. The senior float won first place, the freshmen took second place, and the juniors and sophomores tied for third place. GALAX Y Filling the theme. Futuristic Fantasies the best, the senior float took first place. The junior float tied for third place. On the last night before the parade, senior Brad Austin helps with the float building.
