They started off the year with the state competition at Champaign, where they received 4th place in field competition with the band. They went to summer camp in Indiana, where they were rated superior, and the officers went to a camp in Florida where they placed a respectable second to the Ohio State champs. Oct 8. by marching in the Homecoming Parade Their first field performance was at the last home football game against Glen- bard West and they performed at several home basketball games throughout the season. The Trojan ette squad is made up of Freshmen and Sophomores, many of whom eventually become Athenas. Tryouts for Trojanettes are in March. Should I smile now? What are you looking at
