Students may follow courses for ; four years in French, Spanish, German or Latin. Classroom libraries provide students with j a selection of hooks, magazines, and newspapers that introduce the student to readings in foreign literature. The language lab helps the student to learn correct pronunciation and also aids him in listening comprehension. Movies, film- strips and records enrich the student's text- book work. Because of an increasing demand for employees with a knowledge of foreign languages, the department is constantly striving to incorpo- rate the best and most modern methods into its program.
