Kathy Brown snickers, You, too, can make poison apples. Th2 NATURAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT, under the direction of Mr. Everett Holt, develops the student's understanding of our scientific world. Through the Department, D.G. 11.S. students have access to study in a variety of scientific areas. Biology I and II probe the mysteries of plants and animals. In physical science, chemistry and physics, students learn about the non-living elements of the universe. A new course, honors science, offering a semester each of advanced physics and chemistry, is designed to provide an extensive background in science as preparation for college work. Through the use of modern laboratory equip- ment and a well balanced program, the Natural Science Department educates members of the student body to more fully understand the aspects of living in our world.
