Sweeping and mashing the floors, dusting, washing windows, opening and fixing lockers. and performing numerous other jolts inside the school lea re this bn sy stall little free time. Outside the building they mom the lawns, trim hedges, clear the sidewalks in winter, and do many other jobs that belli to make our campus one of the best. I o Sir l.ererenz anil his staff me extend our sincere appreciation for keeping the school in lip top shape. As your eyes travel across the lunch counter, they meet the smiling faces of our cafeteria ladies who are always ready to oblige the hungry de- mands of the student body. I lie cafeteria also has had its share of inno- vations this year. I he increasing number of stu dents necessitated another lunch period making o total of fire lunch periods. 'or the first lime a turkey dinner with all the trimmings was served for I hanksgiving. Ihe stall hot lunch program has introduced two com plete plate lunches. I he student, therefore, has a choice of carbohydrates, and vitamins needed for a icell balanced meal. Parent- Teacher rf cciatich Clinic Rring the home and school into a closer relationship is the main objective of our Parent I eacher Association. Many beneficial services hare hern rendered the school by this organization. I his year they again sponsored I uberculosis X Rays for the stu dents and held their largest annual Open I louse, enabling parents to meet the teachers informally. In their March meeting they ac ted as hosts Io the eighth grade parents, acquainting them with their children s future curriculum. I oothachey lleadache? Sore linger f No matter what aches and pains students might hare. Miss Myrna Reel:, the school nurse, or any one of her able student assistants are always ready to lend a hand in 201. the clinic. I laiulling student health cards and Ireatifig the common ailments ttf the faculty anrl students are the main duties of the clinics stall. Senior Ptaif he Beauty and the Beef. a three act comedy, was presented by the senior class on October 28 aiul 29 in the auditorium. I he senior play u as (ficen in the fall in order to relieve the crowded sprinp schedule of the seniors. I ryouts were held early in September and rehearsals be pan immediately under the direction of Miss Bar bara Dobben. I he play is the story of ('tinny Allen, a former star on a piiz propram, ivlut moved to a new town in her senior year of hipli school. She tried to conceal her brains for she fell that if the boys found out about her inlellipence. they mipht not dale her. I he play u as iveil received by the audience, hveryone bad fun. and the cast and crew cele braird their success with a parly ludd after the last performance.
