Principal Each year Downer Student support of the school's yearbook drive has assured publication of this annual review of school activities. Those students who plan, organize material for and pub- lish the yearbook gain valuable experience through this activity. Students who purchase the an- nual have a lasting souvenir of one school year at Downer Junior High. We believe this publica- tion adds to school spirit and tradition. To the Downer traditions which have developed over the years we add this year the Carnival of Clubs and the Snow Queen Contest- -both successful due to the efforts of student association officers and the cooperation of the pupils of Downer. We hope to continue our successful and worthwhile activities as Downer traditions and to de- velop new ones which will provide our students with outstanding learning experiences and memories of their junior high school life.
