The reason for its success was the talented actresses and actors. who were Larry North portraying Herbert Gageg Marsha Cushingg Marge Gage. his wifeg Iohn Ross as Matt Rockwoodg Dick Hedges as Jonathan Rock- woodg Ioan Gribler, Mathilda Rockwoodg Delores Tokarski. Sarah Gage: Nancy Welsh, Barbara Gageg Carl Biek, Uncle VValter3 Gloria Bowman, Paula Gageg Tex Marshall. Constableg Hob Gillette, George Hustedq and of course Miss Iillonne Sabo's capable directing brings forth praise. It was a three-act comedy that left the au- dience rocking at every curtain. The civilian spectators were entertained in between acts by Robert Carlisle and the Four Flatsg Ralph Raiford, Larry North. Don liussler. Louis Urick. Charles Dew, head yeoman of the Seniors. presented Miss Sabo with a beautiful bouquet of roses. and prompters Nina julian. lirenda liertelsen, and Mary Lohroff with equally elegant corsages. The cast also bestowed a neck- lace on their director before curtain time. After lights out aboard ship. many Seniors could be seen six weeks before scurrying to and from practicing. but the play wasn't all work. A party at Dick Lanibert's house was one of the well-earned awards of the seasoned seniors. Snap, Crackle, Pop Hey where's my script, curtain's going up. don't forget your cues kids, quiet! These were the cries we uttered back stage on the night ot February ninth. when the iunior class presented to their fellow sail- ors, the play I2yerybody's Crazy Now. All hands were on deck when the play was cast during December. The play was well cast with these iuniors: Susie Gillen as Ada Austin, PLAY CALENDAR-Congratulations! . . . Mattie's pot . . . Feasting? . . . Gage vs. Rockwood . . . Preparation . . . Setting the stage . . . Grease paint . . . Mending time.
