According to the rules, our team was comprised of four students with “A” averages, four with “B” averages and four with “C” averages. Under the direction of Mrs. Helen Cobb, the team met early every morning before classes from November to February. The regional competition was held on February 7, at CCM. Students from all over Morris County took multiple choice tests in a variety of subjects, wrote essays and gave speeches. In a field of more than fifty “A students, Lara Loory placed third and Jason Fabozzi placed first in the speech category. ©©©©Moira 30 Activities
