Bible Club Adviser Mr. Waldemar G. Evert The Bible Club was established to promote the studying of the Bible. Among its many activities this club has had many guest speakers as well as the opportunity to further its understanding of the Bible. Bowling Club The Bowling Club is an active one under the guidance of Mr. Ceorge O’Connell. Once a week this group treks to the Dover Lanes where it has “struck up” fine averages. Stamp Club The Stamp Club has been reorganized in Dover High this year, under the supervision of Mr. Robert Darrow. It plans on attracting more female members next year. 20

Lambda Lambda Alpha President ..-Alberta Fowler Committee: Barbara Sperrv, Jo Ann Luci-ani, Carol Ncsbit, Joan Waitzel, Margie Bopp, Robin Extrom, Shirley Casey. This group renders its services to students or faculty mein-bcrs who need research material, reference material, or any other information which the library has. Each student gives of his free time on a strictly voluntary basis to help make the library valuable for all. Student German Club This club offers an opportunity to any student who desires to know about the German language and the social activities and customs of Germany. Government Library Corps Chairman ..Lilo Pfeifer Captains: Nancy Knowles, Monica Rubens, Rita Brett, Margaret Bopp, Alberta Fowler, Donna Kramer, Barbara Sperry, Charles Hansen, Jerry Murray. This year marks the second year of service for this organization, sponsored by the Student Government and made up of Student Association members. Photography Club Advisers..... Mr. Tuevo Airola Mr. Walter Rentsch The purpose of the Photography Club is to teach the skills of this art to the students. They learn to operate cameras as well as to develop and enlarge prints. Taking pictures of school activities for the papers is one of their chief projects. They also participate in photographic contests. Spanish Club Adviser.....Mrs. Erma Riccardi The purpose of the Spanish Club is to practice Spanish in a more social and informal atmosphere. At the meetings only Spanish is spoken. Spanish music and games are played and the members learn the various folk dances, customs, and traditions of Spanish speaking countries. Pep Club Adviser Miss Roberta Bramhall The Pep Club is composed of girls interested in promoting school spirit during the football season. Each week the girls busied themselves by painting eye-catching posters. On Thursdays these posters perked up the hallways of DHS, reminding students of the approaching game. As a special service the girls mimeographed the more popular cheers and distributed them to the freshman homerooms. The Pep Club loudly supported their home team in the grandstand. A section was roped off at the home games for this purpose.
