Student Executive Committee ?resident..Richard Clifton Adviser.Mr. John Scowcroft The Student Association has been formed to develop greater student interest and activity in our school and student government, to promote a sense of responsibility and pride in our school and to harmonize the student body with the faculty. It does so through five major organs of government. The first, the Executive Committee, corresponds to the national president and his cabinet, and his vice-president, secretaries, treasurer, and notice chief. They plan to coordinate activities of the Student Association. Student Court Judge ......Richard Clifton Adviser..Mr. John Scowcroft Any student who violates the school rules is brought to the Student Court, where his case is tried and if he is found guilty. a student may receive anywhere from one to five demerits. These demerits are recorded on a student's record from year to year and if he should accumulate five demerits, a letter is sent home to his parents by the judge. 15 Student Council Chairman ....Rita DeCregoris Adviser....Mr. Walter Rentsch The Student Council is headed by the president of the Student Government and the four class officers. Any school rules which the Student Congress wants to enforce must lx approved by the Student Council.

Audio-Visual Aids Club President..............Bob Lee Vice-President ......Ed Wacks Secretary ............Hay Essig Adviser Mr. J. A. Middleton, III The function of this club is to assist the teachers in their further presentation of class material through the mechanics of our many various types of equipment. The Visual Aids services numerous extracurricular activities in the school such as providing the loud speaker system for pep rallies, football games, and wrestling matches and the spotlight for activities in the auditorium and the C.A.A. Show. There is a chief for each period of the day and a head chief who supervises the club. Forensic Group Student Moderator .....Dennis Horn Treasurer....Richard St. Peters Adviser Mr. Arnold D. Tversky Actually, this has been a four-star year. Calc Pocltlcr is the State Champ for poetry reading and the two teams of Dennis Horn and Jim Hogalski, of Ronald Millman and Ed Wacks have brought home honors constantly. Via the forensic line, Dover has been tops this year. Upperclass Drama Club President ..Dennis Horn Adviser Mr. George Schlager The Upperclass Drama Club has had an active year, highlighted by its presentation of “Time Out for Ginger.” 17
