The Guid- ance and High School offices were extensively remodeledg each now enioys the luxuries of wall-to-wall carpet and refreshing new paint. The Attendance office was relocated, along with some of the Admin- istration. Double-pane, cold-resistant, heat-retaining windows spruced up the appearance of the Fifth Street wing, and a new bell system was installed. As a result, the clocks failed to work. But then, neither did the bells! Our beloved cafeteria, relieved of those long, anti-social tables, was equipped with intimate tables for four, some- times five, but usually more! The bulky partitions dividing the cafeteria and library disappeared, replaced with a new yellow wall and a door that was never locked!!
