FOREWORD H is fhe privilege of fhe I953 graduaiing class of Dover High School fo presenf ihis edi+ion of fhe Swirl. As we pondered upon a rheme fo carry fhrough our yearbook, we were aware of fhe numerous decisions we 'faced af 'ihe various CROSSROADS OF LIFE. Through +he help of our minisfers, our parenis, our ieachers, and our friends, we are guided 'foward fhe righi' choice of fhe road +o follow. ln our book we have a'H'emp+ed 'I'o show 'lhe pafhs 'l'hai' +he siudenis of Dover High have followed during fhis year. A choice of pafhs is made as we choose our friends, our course of sfudy, our exfra-curricular acfiviiies, our sporfs, and our musical organizafions. When we, +he Seniors, leave our Alma Maier, ii' will be wifh ihe realizafion fha? we have noi 'Finished making decisions, and 'I'ha+ we will consianily be af fhe CROSSROADS, hoping for 'Phe wisdom and wise iudgmeni' necessary +o choose fhe righf pafh.
