Senuor H1StO The new teacher Muss Ethel Davus gazed hopefully upon the furst class upon whom she was to struve to umpress the fundamentals of the furst grade Among those many lovely chuldren were fufteen who thus year are graduatung from our Dover Hugh School She can be equally as proud of them and theur present class mates as they can be of her for havung survuved twelve years of such torment To be specufuc these fortunate youngsters were as follows Davud Bender Patty Cass Dorus Cole Ruth Glendennung Glen .lenkuns Mel vun Kauffman Dean Mattern Janet Muller Norma Neate Tom Schulter Lous Sumonds Bob Unger Barbara Ward Gene Woodlung and Dorothy Wueb ker A magnufucent advancement the above mentuoned entered the second grade and to help them struggle through thus strenuous year Jack Endress Yvonne Reed and Arlene Wussman entered along wuth them A future sports star uouned the troupe un the thurd grade He was of course Lee Oster The fourth grade brought a charmung personaluty unto the present sen uor class lt was that of Margaret Surman Fuve years had elapsed and a brulluant polutucuan Wendell Robunson who was elected to the Student Councul presudency un has uunuor year claumed offucual membershup along wuth Robert Clufford un the promusung and progres sung class of forty seven Mr James Porter Weaver the man of boundless escapades honored the class wuth has enrollment un the suxth grade lntensufyung the ever fascunatung thrull of becomung qualufued seventh graders was the entrance unto the class of three refuned gentlemen Larry Lueux Bob Bump and Bob Blomquust The latter un hus senuor year became hugh pount man un French class-or was ut basketball?
