Fellow Students, This is the Critan Broadcast of 1946. Critan is the authentic record in pictures of life in Dover High School immediately following World War II. The name Critan means Crimson Tornado Annual and was coined by Joe and John Richardson of the Class of 1946. Herein is a photographic broadcast of students and teachers at work side by side in classrooms, laboratories, and shops. Critan records the stories of good fellowship among classmates of Dover High School and of the beginning of their careers. When in after years you turn the pages of this book, you will agree that there were no hours in Dover High School that were not sun-lit with the Hope of more abundant living in a Peacetime World made safe by the Defenders of Democracy.
