XNMW A ,MJ xx Senuor Class Hustory Our four years here have been so full of actuvutues that the task of wrutung the class hustory un two pages seems to me formudable For one thung l don t know where to start everythung we have done seems umportant enough to put furst However you do have to start somewhere, and sunce our class electuons have probably guven us as much practucal traun ung un cutuzenshup as has anythung else un our hugh school lufe I ll begun wuth them ln the fall of l955 we made our hustorucal entrance unto Dover Hugh We chose as our offucers Muckey Beaudette, presudent Ronny St John, vuce presudent Jane Monell sec retary, and Judy Farrar, treasurer These four dud a fune 'ob and dud much to add to our good reputatuon as a class ln our sophomore year we kept up the good work and chose Mickey Beaudette aqaun as our presudent Paul Gullus as vuce presudent Bev Swaun sec retary, and Lubby Cassuly, treasurer Last year somehow upperclassmen all of a sudden our offucers were Don Allen presudent Fred Mone, vuce presudent, Bonnue Wescott sec retary, and Jane Monell, treasurer They dud a wonderful uob and made our Junuor Prom one of the most beautuful ever Thus year, as you well remember, all the class electuons were suddenly marked by ferocuous campaugnung In our class there were fuve partues and l8 candudates by forthe largest number ever to partucupate un a class electuon After a week of whurl wund tours speeches posters and name callung ffruendly most of utl the dust settled and we crawled Paul LeBlanc, vuce presudent, Judy Knox, secretary and Joan Roberts treasurer These kuds had to be good to survuve that race ln the fueld of sports the class of 59 has taken uts share of pruzes and awards Muckey Beaudette was captaun of the football team, and was also guven the Herbert Ayer Trophy for beung the senuor football player most demonstratung outstandung leadershup scholar shup, sportsmanshup and character Other football players honored were Dave Allen who receuved the Vatustas Trophy for beung the most umproved player and Orrun Freddette, named Most Valuable Player ln other categorues, Paul Gullus was captaun of the basket ball squad and Paul Renaud seta new record at Woodman Park for the Cross Country Team We have been very successful un our polutucs and athletucs, and undeed un everythung we have undertaken Some of our greatest achuevements however, have been un extra currucular actuvutues ln our sophomore year Bonnue Wescott was chosen by the student body as an aude at the Carnuval Ball Paul Duon was presudent of the French Club and Lubby Cassuly headed the Art Club ln our uunuor year Bonnue reugned over the Carnuval Week actuvutues assusted by an other member of our class, Jane Monell Paul LeBlanc and Emul Labbe became edutors of the Green Rave, and made ut better than ever Boys State had tops un representatuon from Dover Hugh Muckey Beaudette, Paul Gullus, James Kamerus, Paul LeBlanc, Ray McEneaney, Armand Pulotte and Roland Rouruer showed the state that Dover Hugh had the BEST' Ray McEneaney won 05200 scholarshup at thus conventuon The senuor year was fulled wuth a very heavy schedule Bonnue Wescott was elected Harvest Queen, and her audes were Aprul Carter, Sandra Gage Judy Knox, and Beverly Swaun Marcua Fox and her staff so astutely advused by Muss Mary Murphy got to work rught away on the Profule, and we see by thus excellent funushed product that ut paud to ,ml 0 0 . .
