Mr. Fox, our Superintendent of Schools, has again been highly instrumental in the promotion of educa- tional values in the Dover School System. Through his pleasant manner and kindly assistance, Mr. Fox has won a coveted place in our reineinbrances, as a man with only the highest intention: that of the full development of our cultural, moral, and intellectual being. We, the first class to graduate since Mr. Walker as- sumed the duties of the Headmastership, wish to ex- press our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the thoughtful assistance and counsel he has given us this past year. Taking over the vacated headmaster's posi- tion in the fall, Mr. Xvalker successfully directed the difficult reorganization program along with all school policies. The Class of 1950 is indeed thankful to have had the privilege of being directed by so fine an ad- ministrator, and can only hope that future classes will benefit as much as we from his leadership.

YEAR BOOK The initial meeting of all interested Year Book workers was held early in December this year in order to facilitate organization. The preliminary and most vital activity was the soliciting of advertising space to determine a tentative budget. This was done under the direction of the Business Manager, David Huffer, who was elected at the first meeting. liarly in February the remaining oflicers were chosen from the ranks of the workers, with Sara .lane Cummings receiving the position of Fditor-in-Chief. Since l950 marks the mid-point of the twen- tieth centurv, it was decided to run the annual on an historic theme, depicting the fashions and modes of the last fifty years. Much time and effort have been expended by the staff and their co-workers in the prepa- ration of this book. The staff would like to extend its appreciation to Headmaster Mlalk- er, Miss Boyd, Miss McDonough, Miss Mur- phy, Mr. Chag, and Mr. DeGross for their thoughtful assistance and co-operation.
