I In September vue welcomed lVIr Walter E Scott as headmaster of Dover High School We ue very proud to have such in understanding capable leader He IS ft graduate of Boston Unlv ersitw In 1941 he receix ed the degree of Master of Fdu ant1c1pat1on of '1 doctors degree in the educational Held he has taken courses at Harxard Graduate School of Fducatlon Prior to his coming to Dox er he taught in the towns of Randolph Ax on Hingham and Duxbury Massachusetts From 1944 to 1947 Mr Scott served as headmaster of Duxbury High School We sincerely hope that his arduous duties will be as pleasant as he has made the senior year for the class of 1948 We, the Ulass of 1948, express our sin- cere appreciation to Mr. Gordon L. Fox. Although we rarely see him, he is the man behind the gun who has done so much for the Dover School System. Despite his many duties and limited time, he is always ready and willing to advise and assist in any undertaking that means future advancement for the youth of our city.
