An executive board made up of Student Council members, with Miss McCooey as advisor, set up assembly groups composed of both stu- dents and faculty members. There were six of these groups. Each was responsi- ble for preparing live programs. Among these were rallies during the football and basketball seasons and awards assemblies. The students enjoyed movies ,. - f jnvf'-f on timely subjects and were entertained by the Band and Glee Club. There were assemblies presented entirely by students. The groups were fortunate in obtaining professional speakers, two of whom took Hobbies and On the Inside of Radio for their subjects. This new method of planning assemblies has proved very satisfactory and the student body appreciates the efforts of Miss McCooey and the committee.
