As a class we participate in most activities and strive to do the best we can in what ever we do. We attend class well and most of our grades are kept up to par, we have a lot of our school spirit and support in every way possible. l think the Junior class is the best thing that ever happened to Douglass and will be for a long time. Each and every year a great deal of responsibility is placed upon the Ju- nior class. As usual, their primary concern has been producing the Ju- nior-Senior Prom. The juniors are responsible for planning and financ- ing this gala event. The Seniors of I98l are making their presence known by their participa- tion in civic and community affairs. This Junior year is important be- cause these students must get ready for their last year in high school. They must make sure that they have taken the courses needed to prepare themselves for college.
