Decades pass and along with them. everchanging fads and fashion. Every decade has contributed to our pre- sent fashion trend, because without our re- alizing it, the styles we classify as new are without a doubt only former fashions with a new twist. What is fashion? The dictionary describes it as, a mode or current way of dressing. This definition gives the impression that to be in fashion one must wear what everybody else wears and that is not true . . , fashion is how you feel about you, and what side of This year focused on the soft feminine look. Many young ladies shed their ieans and slacks and discov- ered the dress and skirt was not all bad. Above Stephanie Allen poses with a look of sheer tranquil- ity. you you are trying to get across. You can see that with the year of nineteen eighty rolling in, the change in attitudes, our nonchalant way of dressing seems to be out. The Fashion Trend that is about us now, then, is the spirit of a change, the individual approach, and also the sign of a new beginning. After all isn't fashion a never ending pattern of beginnings? Sophistication cannot be left out by any means. Indeed the new era has brought out a new pride in the way we dress, and a representation of the person we are. While some young women limited their wardrobe to slacks. others continued to wear them in a variety of ways, with varied accesor- ies, and with class, as Sher- ry does here.

Super Trojans Shine Through Behind the scenes students involve themselves in numerous activities. Morning inspiration is a group consist- ing of students who take time out of their own daily lives to help others live their lives easily, while other groups like the Kilties, are more for fun and entertainment.
