We provide a basic curriculum along with a work-study program which has proven to be an integral part of a well balanced educational program. We feel the primary purpose of all education is to teach people to think and to be responsi- ble to and for themselves. In order for an education to be meaningful, we must learn to challenge all the things we take for granted, examine all except values and assumptions, and instill the desire to question. We plan to bring our students one step closer by helping them realize what they want to accomplish and how to go about it. -B. P. Bley H. Donnelly The Home Economics Department includes the sewing and cooking classes. Students benefit from these courses by becoming prepared to live on their own. The sewing classes have shown us what they can do by putting on Fashion Shows and through window displays. Our Business Department also prepares students for the outside world by teaching them job-related skills. 'Un-. gxsti Q Faculty x ,V , QZSMYW gg

By providing guidance which will give students a sense of direction, learning disability classes help students by teaching them as much as we can about the world in which we live . . . by showing how to use time in school to a persons best advantage . . . by helping students learn how to live happily and usefully with others while still in high school and later in life. This year will be one step closer to helping our stu- dents gain independence and become active partici- pants in the adult way of life. H+... Facu ty 25
