Character, Service, Leadership, and Scholarship are the four main objectives of the organization. Eighty-two members were elected to membership in the second semester of 1955. A student must maintain at least an average of B- and carry not less than 4V2 credits to be eligible for the Honor Roll. To further motivate Scholarship, those students whose averages are A or A- are elected to what is known as the Principal's List. Fifteen such students are on the 1955 Principal's List.
