l e . , A ' Y 4 DGJGLASS WINS CHAMWI JNSHIP The Douglass B1sons' under the coaching of L D Jones, Edward Glass and James B Blakemore, upheld the ancient honors of Hen derson on the gridiron by going through the season undefeated in conference, and to win and restore herself to the mythical throne wh ch she has sat since the dawn of upm 1 high school football in this area Throughout the seasm, the 'Bisons play ed the game and were able to defeat such teams as Morganfield, Princeton, Bowling Green, Paducah and Murray Outstanding among the w re Flash Butler Melvin Robards players e , Kendrick, J. Orastus Clarke and Captain Thomas, 'Ihen came the cage season with coaches Jones and Glass having such veterans as Cap tain Mccray, Melvin Robards and Billy Hatchett to form the nucleus for the first five Soon Harvey whipped into shape and Towler returned which gave Dou glass a fair team which lost most games by one or two points, 'Ihe team represented at the District Tourna ment at Earlington and made a creditable showing but did not win a trophy which made them ineli- gible to go to the State.
