Eh the year of 1958, early in September, there set sail over the Sea of Knowledge, a magnifi cent fleet proudly bearing aloft floating ban ners of red and white This fleet was headed for a distant lance called The Land of Gradu voyave of four years There were four isles freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior isle or The Promised Land Q1 bo rd the vessels, wh conpo ed the fleet, there were forty voyagers called fre hnen, eacn one firmly resolved to suc coed or go down with the ship, The first port re ehed was the freshman isle. Here fifteen voyagers were not sufficiently equipped to continue the journey and had to be left behind with the hope of rejoining the fleet at sophonore isle a year later Here, the voy agers met with a strange kind of people called sophomores, juniors, and seniors, who had wander ed away fran their homes, The upper classes entertained with Q cet Aequain tea Social in the gymnasium This was a swell affair, Q1 Octo ber 4th, we organized and the following officers were elected Melvin Robards, President, Otha Ree Ellis, Secretary, and Grace Reeder, Treasurer.
